They are out of storage. First clean them & re-paint them. I'm thinking gold or white paint. Gold with dark red paint would look the business, but white would hide salt & (I think) still look cool.

I wish I lived on a farm where I could harvest winter  tires with tractors

Already swapped the wife’s 2 snows, and I just got new dunlop snows for the 5.  Going to be hopping snowbanks for Halloween.  I am not ready :(

I’d prefer living on  a farm where I could harvest sticky sports tires, but to each their own.

You can sell winter tires to buy summer tires, just like soybean farms sell their soybeans to buy good food.

I should probably put mine on soon but I still have one more track event to go to before I can ditch the summers. I’m kinda putting it off because my car handles like ass on the snow tires and I know that once I do put them on it means I’m not having anymore motorsports fun again until the lakes freeze.

I’m about to buy new all-seasons, when I should be buying winters. Not sure if I’m keeping the car long term though, so spending 4-500 for winters seems excessive. I’ll just have to wait for the plows to do their thing this year.

I wasn’t planning on putting mine on for about another month. This won’t stick but w e’ll see how long I can hold out.

Might put mine on the crown vic if i have time Friday. No snow yet (or forecast) but it’s getting cold enough and I don’t want to be caught off-guard in a snowstorm in the middle of a work trip.

There was some snow in the air today, but still too warm to for it stay on the ground.

I’ve always wanted white steels like an eighties rally car but I’m afraid attempting to paint my slightly rusty old black winter rims white would take a ton of coa ts and still look shitty in the end.

In other words I’d love to see you try it first!

I think the white may work since it rally car looks in the body. If it turns out bad I paint gold over white.

Makes good sense as you’ d want to prime before putting a colour on anyway.

I was looking at the plasti dip in Lowes  the other day but that stuff is still kinda pricey (might be better elsewhere maybe)

Always primer. I washed them, & scuffed the paint (removed as much rust as I could). I’ll probably get to priming on Saturday .
